BUNNY YOGA

A "Hopping" Path to Wellness

In today's fast-paced world, stress and anxiety have become all too common, making mindfulness and mental well-being more important than ever. Bunny yoga is practice that blends traditional yoga with the soothing presence of rabbits. While yoga itself is well-known for promoting relaxation and mindfulness, adding bunnies to the mix takes the experience to a whole new level of wellness. It's a fun and therapeutic option for yoga studios looking to offer a unique class, or for workplaces, universities, and event organizers planning mental wellness days or corporate events. Whether you're aiming to reduce stress, boost morale, or simply offer something memorable, bunny yoga brings a joyful, calming energy that leaves everyone smiling.

Numerous studies have demonstrated that interacting with animals can significantly alleviate stress and anxiety. Pet therapy is commonly used in hospitals, schools, long-term care and mental health programs to help reduce blood pressure, ease symptoms of depression, and promote overall well-being. Rabbits, in particular, are gentle and calming creatures, making them the perfect companions for a mindfulness-focused practice like yoga.

When participating in bunny yoga, participants engage in deep breathing, gentle movements, and present-moment awareness, all while being surrounded by adorable, fluffy companions. The presence of bunnies encourages a sense of joy and relaxation, helping to lower cortisol levels—the hormone responsible for stress. The simple act of stroking a rabbit or watching them hop around can trigger the release of oxytocin, often called the "love hormone," which is associated with feelings of comfort and connection.

Many participants leave our sessions feeling not only physically refreshed but also emotionally uplifted. The shared experience of interacting with the bunnies—whether it's watching their adorable antics or simply soaking in their calming energy—creates an environment of positivity and connection, reducing feelings of loneliness or isolation.

Bunny Yoga Information

Here’s how a typical Bunny Yoga session is structured and what to expect.

Format & Flow

Each Bunny Yoga session is designed to last about an hour. Guests spend the first 45–50 minutes practicing yoga with the bunnies hopping around, followed by 10–15 minutes of relaxed interaction with the bunnies. This dedicated wind-down time allows participants to connect with the animals in a calm and mindful way. We also provide a small selection of veggie treats so guests can hand-feed the bunnies, adding an extra layer of joy to the experience.

Rates & Packages

Our standard rate is $220 for the first hour of Bunny Yoga, with the option to extend your session at $110 per additional hour. Please note that travel fees apply, which will vary depending on the event location. Whether you are hosting a private gathering, wellness retreat, or corporate event, our flexible packages can be tailored to suit your needs.

Bunny Care & Setup:

Venues must be fully enclosed with non-carpet flooring. We provide wipes for mats, and our staff ensures the space stays clean and bunny-friendly

Participant Capacity

We are able to accommodate a wide range of group sizes depending on the yoga studio/venue. Please let us know how many participants your space can comfortably host and/or how many participants you are thinking of hosting.

Staffing & Support

A Farm Friends staff member will always be on site to manage the bunnies, provide safety guidelines, and explain how to interact with the animals respectfully. The bunny staff and the yoga instructor are separate roles, ensuring both the practice and the animals are fully supported. If you do not have a yoga instructor arranged, we have a certified instructor available at an additional rate.

Other Considerations

For the safety and well-being of the animals, we ask that guests do not pick up the bunnies. Gentle petting is allowed during sessions, but lifting or carrying them is not permitted. Please note that yoga mats are not provided and participants should bring their own.
