Our Mental Wellness Visits start at $220 and provide a gentle, hands-on experience where guests can pet, feed, and interact with our friendly bunnies in a peaceful and welcoming environment. Each visit is attended by a trained team member to help create a safe, supportive, and meaningful experience for everyone involved.
Even simply sitting nearby and watching the animals hop, explore, and interact can bring a sense of calm, comfort, and emotional connection. Many guests describe the experience as grounding, soothing, and uplifting.
*Travel Fees apply based on location. Minimum of $30. GST is subject to all bookings.
Why Animal Visits Matter
Animal-assisted visits can help reduce feelings of stress, anxiety, loneliness, and emotional overwhelm while encouraging relaxation, connection, and mindfulness. Studies have shown that interacting with animals may support emotional well-being, mood, and stress reduction.

What to Expect During Your Visit
Our Mental Wellness Visits are thoughtfully designed to create a calm, welcoming, and sensory-friendly environment where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy meaningful interaction with the animals.
Guests are welcome to gently pet, feed, and spend time with the bunnies at their own pace. Those who prefer a quieter experience are also welcome to relax nearby and simply enjoy the calming atmosphere. We also provide poster boards: Benefits of Animal Assisted Interactions, Facts About Rabbits, and their Names and Stories.
Animals & Interaction
Each visit includes 5 friendly bunnies and a variety of fresh vegetables for guests to hand-feed them. Gentle interaction is encouraged, while our trained team member remains present throughout the visit to guide safe handling, answer questions, and ensure both guests and animals remain comfortable.
*Guests may interact from outside the enclosure or choose to step inside for a more hands-on experience.
Setup & Environment
Our setup is designed to create a peaceful and inviting atmosphere for wellness-focused events. We provide all fencing, décor, and setup materials needed for the experience.
Fencing Sizes:
(All fencing can be made smaller if needed).
Outdoor fencing - 8 ft x 10 ft
Indoor fencing - 6 ft x 6 ft
Outdoor Setups (Preferred)
Our favourite setup! Whenever possible, we recommend hosting Farm Friends outdoors. This allows us to create a larger enclosure, giving the bunnies more space to explore and relax.
For indoor visits, we use a protective mat and tarp beneath the setup to help maintain cleanliness and comfort within the space. Indoor setups work best in an open area where guests can comfortably gather around the enclosure.
Timing & Setup
Our team typically arrives approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled booking time to unload and prepare the setup area. Take-down will begin once the booked visit has concluded. In rare cases, unexpected traffic or travel delays may slightly affect arrival times.
A Calm & Meaningful Experience
Whether your event is focused on stress relief, emotional wellness, grief support, mindfulness, or simply creating a comforting experience, our goal is to provide a gentle and memorable visit that encourages calmness, connection, and joy through animal interaction.

Meet the Little Therapists with Big Hearts
Each bunny has a gentle spirit and a special purpose: helping people feel a little lighter and a lot more loved. They may not speak, but they know how to listen—and love.

Beatrice
Meet Beatrice! She is a French & English Angora cross. She was brought into our care with Legolas in November 2022 due to their owner not having the time to care for them. Beatrice and Legolas are such incredibly sweet bunnies and it has been such an incredible journey watching their personalities bloom!

Legolas
Legolas is a French Angora cross. He was brought into our care with Beatrice in November 2022. Legolas and Beatrice are a bonded pair and you will always find the two close by to each other!
Fun Fact: Beatrice and Legolas were named after Lord of the Rings characters!

Athena
Athena is around 4-5 years old. She is half siblings with Quinton. After their family situation changed, the family decided that it was best for Quinton and Athena to move on to a new home. They are now thriving with other bunny friends and making friends from all over the world. Their original family follows their story and love seeing how far they've come and how happy they are on their adventures.

Quinton
Quinton is around 4-5 years old. He is half siblings with Athena. Unfortunately, these two had a sad start to life. They were left at a vet clinic in Port Alberni and Quinton needed to have one of his eyes removed. Quinton and Athena have been with us since 2023. We are so lucky they are apart of our family now.

Versace
Versace is an English Angora rabbit with a soft, cloud-like coat and a gentle, loving nature. She was rescued from a livestock auction after being repeatedly returned due to previous owners not being able to breed her and the high-maintenance care Angoras require. Despite her past, Versace is calm, sweet, and brings a quiet sense of comfort to everyone she meets.

"The Farm Friends has been life changing for us. We live in a multi trauma and disability layered household. Spending time with animals is essential for mental health and having a mobile option takes stress out of the planning. Its fun, enriching and very peaceful which means so much to us. Julie is also so kind, compassionate, accommodating to different needs and wonderful to interact with. Very organized set up and tear down. In Spring/Summer its a monthly necessity at our place. Its brought us so much joy. Thank you Farm Friends!"
-Kiersten, North Vancouver
"Farm Friends is so amazing. They came our school to help our students to help alleviate student stress from AP Exams. Farm Friends brought our entire school community together. The animals touched many hearts of our students and staff. We have had many requests for Farm Friends to come back to our school for many other events. I will totally be requesting them again and highly recommend them. Thanks :) "
